Greg - 40's - 50's

Kate - 40's - 50's

Sylvia - 20's - 30's - pert, sexy, street smart dog

Tom / Phyllis / Leslie - looking for a male actor to play all 3 roles...

Tom is a typical guy Greg meets at the Dog Park

Phyllis is an upper class friend of Kate's

Leslie is their androgynous marriage counselor

Auditions will be by cold reading from the script.

The Plot

Greg and Kate have moved to Manhattan after 22 years of child raising in the suburbs. Greg's career as a financial trader is winding down while Kate's career, as a public school English teacher, is beginning to offer her more opportunities. Greg brings home a dog he found in the park - or that has found him. A street smart mix of lab and poodle, Sylvia becomes a major bone of contention between husband and wife.
