LVLT Coronavirus update
LVLT August Update
Unfortunately, due to the continued COVID-19 surge and the current restrictions in place, I'm afraid we will have no choice but, to continue to adjust our re-opening and schedule for our upcoming season.
Brighton Beach Memoirs will be postponed until Sept 11 - 27, 2020 based on the situation and government orders closer to that time. Glengarry Glen Ross will be moved to Oct 23 - Nov 8th and Explorer's Club will move to the December slot. January will be the musical revue Putting It Together and The Farnsworth Invention and Ripcord remain as scheduled.
We will also be presenting several online offerings until we are back open at full capacity in the future. Season ticket holders with outstanding tickets for Spitfire Grill and/or Brighton Beach Memoirs may exchange those tickets for tickets to our online events or any of other 2020/2021 season shows if not already a subscriber.
The Quarantine Monologues a collection of original monologues themed around the COVID-19 pandemic will play 2 encore performances on July 31 at 7pm and Aug 2 at 3pm. Season tickets may be used for this event. Please contact the box office about using season tickets for The Quarantine Monologues.
Due to the postponement of Brighton Beach Memoirs and to keep our performance schedule, we will be presenting the first show of the 2020 / 2021 season online only. We are working on securing the rights and will announce this show shortly. This will replace Orient Express for season ticket holders. We understand this may not be acceptable for some. We ask that you consider the online show as a substitute while we cannot be together in the theatre. We have a How-To video below to show you how simple it is it get to the online show as well. However, if you do not wish to participate in the online production, please consider donating your ticket back to LVLT. Otherwise we will be happy to issue a refund for Orient Express based on the season ticket rate.
We know this isn't what you are used to and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate through these difficult times. Thank you to those that have donated or participated in our online shows thus far. We look forward to the day we can bring everyone back to the theatre and hope you will continue to support us until we are able to do so.
