Show Description: A sunny room on an upper floor is prime real estate in the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility, so when the cantankerous Abby is forced to share her quarters with new-arrival Marilyn, she has no choice but to get rid of the infuriatingly chipper woman by any means necessary. A seemingly harmless bet between the old women quickly escalates into a dangerous game of one-upmanship that reveals not just the tenacity of these worthy opponents, but also deeper truths that each would rather remain hidden.
All roles are available.
Abby Binder (F) A resident of a senior living facility. Irritable, feisty, and sarcastic curmudgeon.
Marilyn Dunne (F) A resident of a senior living facility. Sweet, upbeat, and preternaturally patient chatterbox.
Scotty (M) An aide at the senior living facility.
Benjamin, Lewis, and Clown (M) One actor plays three roles. Benjamin is the son of Abby and the two have been estranged.
Colleen and Woman in White (F) One actor plays two roles. Colleen is Marilyn’s daughter.
Derek, Zombie Butler, and Masked Man (M) One actor plays three roles. Derek is Marilyn’s son-in-law.
**Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.**
