Both shows will perform in one evening with a 10 minute intermission between shows. Admission is for both shows. Seating is very limited, advanced ticket purchase is recommended.   

Las Vegas Little Theatre is thrilled to present the 2024 Vegas Fringe Festival, to be held June 7 - 16, 2024. The two weekend Festival of Live Theatre will feature an exciting buffet of new and established plays and performances of no more than sixty minutes each, performed multiple times throughout the festival.

 

The festival will be held at the Las Vegas Little Theatre’s facility at 3920 Schiff Drive near the corner of Spring Mountain and Valley View with performances in the Fischer Black Box Theatre.

Audience members call Dorothea an “absolutely vulnerable” and “phenomenal storyteller.” Her interactive solo comedy promises “lots of laughs and an unexpected ending.” You’ll laugh … you may cry … You’ll definitely wonder why oh why did she f*ck so many D!CKS?!

Dorothea Deley writes and performs comedy that makes us laugh — and think — about how we treat each other. MY DECADE OF D!CKS: A LOVE STORY was developed in “Make A Show with Shannan,” a workshop designed and led by Shannan Calcutt (Spiegelworld, Cirque du Soleil).

Everyone has a family, but not every family has everyone. Follow the Wright family in The Will to Live by Juliana Renee Martin. Angela, eldest daughter to Dorothy, takes charge of the finances and the family since the passing of her father, seven months prior. With only mother and daughter in the home, while constantly being interrupted from Dorothy’s other children, The Will to Live shows audiences in reverse the power of family, greed, and unconditional love.

Jerry Finnegan’s Sister by Jack Neary

Brian Dowd has spent the last 10 years of his life wrestling with an unrequited "something" for his best friend's sister, who happens to live next door. But each and every time he's spoken with Beth Finnegan for more than 30 seconds, he's ended up with his foot planted firmly in his mouth. Now, Brian's time is about to run out. A light hearted comedy and enjoyably awkward, this rom-com truly encapsulates the universal awkwardness of first love.

Mafia Anonymous: The Women Speak by Pina

Comedy and drama, Fiction, BASED ON TRUTH. “Nella is the leader of a WOMEN’S Mafia Anonymous group. It is rumored that Nella’s dad did business with the Mafia.
The piece is dedicated to Laura Peralta, Laura was Murdered in 2012 in AZ. The piece examines the murder case through the character voice of Diana, a Ghost.
The piece is also dedicated to the Artist Father (Romano) and examines their complex relationship. The piece serves to Promote Women Voices.
Mafia Anonymous; The Women Speak written and performed by the Artist PINA. Pina is a writer/performance artist currently living in Phoenix, whose lifelong work explores the transformation of marginalized people as they wrestle with oppression and the corrosive effect of labels.
Gender Themes are explored in the Show - A LINE from the Lead Character NELLA: “Gender Construct. I’ve been re-reading Judith Butler's book Gender Trouble. “ Hyper Masculinity.” These men are acting out Cultural definitions of Manhood. It is what they know. What they  see. “

Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett

On his 69th birthday, Krapp sits at a cluttered desk and listens to tape recordings he made decades earlier.  To Krapp, the voice in the recorded diary is that of a naive and foolish stranger. Although he comments savagely on the young Krapp’s hope and idealism, he is drawn to the recorded voice of his younger, more hopeful self.
This semi-autobiographical piece from Samuel Beckett comments on the passage of time, the human condition and it’s evolving perspective, and regret
