Audition Dates: In-person auditions will take place Monday, September 29 and Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 7pm
Location: Las Vegas Little Theatre 3920 Schiff Dr. Las Vegas, NV, 89103
Performance Dates: January 16 - February 1, 2025 with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. Rehearsals will begin immediately following auditions.
Show Description: Into the Woods is a richly layered musical that intertwines beloved fairy tales to explore the consequences of wishes and the complexity of human desire. The story follows a Baker and his Wife, who embark on a quest to lift a curse placed on their family by a vengeful Witch. Along the way, they cross paths with Cinderella, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel—each pursuing their own dreams.
In Act I, the characters venture into the woods to fulfill their wishes, and by the end, it seems everyone has achieved their “happily ever after.” But Act II reveals the darker side of those fulfilled desires. A vengeful Giant descends, and the characters must confront loss, responsibility, and the unintended consequences of their actions.
With wit, heart, and haunting melodies, Into the Woods transforms familiar tales into a poignant meditation on growing up, moral ambiguity, and the power of community.

Narrator / Mysterious Man
An intellectual and pleasant story-teller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience.

Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed.

A harried and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles.

The Baker's Wife
Determined and bright woman who wishes to be a mother. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors.

All roles are available.
Auditions will consist of music, movement and a cold reading from the script.
Please prepare a song from the show or bring sheet music in your key.
We have the score & an accompanist will be provided.
